mudguards

May 20, 2020 - One of the best ways to keep your bike in good condition is to keep it clean.  With the purchase of my new bike, I knew I needed to do just that.

So, I made two mudguards.  For the front, I made some measurements and cut out a shape, and zip tied it to the fork.  The back took some more thought.  Taking a picture from the side of the bike, I was able to get the profile mount.  I imported the picture into a CAD software, and traced its outline.  With the addition of a tolerance, and the part fit super snuggly.

Both of these hacks were super quick and easy, but make a cyclists life much easier... and economical!
