For Delivery Workers

May 31, 2020 - As the COVID-19 pandemic put stress on healthcare workers, frontline, workers, businesses, and pretty much everyone, many communities wanted to step up and help out.  One of these communities was the 3D printing community, which I am very fortunate to be a part of.  In an instant, there were countless ideas and designs popping up in the Engineering Group on Thingiverse, with people iterating on each others' designs or offering feedback.  I was so happy to see this.

I decided that I could still help on a local level.  After seeing the discomfort delivery workers had when wearing masks all day, I decided to 3D print "ear savers" for them, and display the, on the front porch.  I always carried some with me to give to those who had to wear masks constantly.  I used a pre-existing design on Thingiverse because it was verified by a health organization.

During the pandemic, I was constantly cranking these out, and I am happy that I was able to help, even if it was on a small scale.
