Cup-Holder Stick Shift

Feb 19, 2020 - I have always loved cars, and after a trip to Italy, manual cars captured my imagination.  I wanted to create a unique way to bring the joy of stick shifts to everyone.

So, I came up with the idea to make a realistic feeling stick that fits in a cup-holder, so a passenger can feel like they are driving a manual!

To make it feel realistic, I incorporated a universal joint connected with screws, so one can adjust the stiffness.  In addition, I tried to leave as many openings as possible so that the user can be mesmerized by the universal joint!

Everything was 3D printed with exception of the metal screws.
